My Thoughts:

I can go on and on about Casablanca, and I won't apologize for it if I do. I love this film. This is one of the first films that got me into classic cinema. This film is arguably one of the best films in cinematic history, to many people, such as myself. This is the second movie I saw that had Humphrey Bogart, who is now my favorite actor. Many argue that Casablanca isn't his best performance, they argue In A Lonely Place (1950), or The African Queen (1951) is his best work. I personally think it is a tie between Casablanca and In A Lonely Place. I love both of those films tremendously and they show how great Bogart is as an actor. Honestly one of the things that I find so captivating about the acting in this film is Ingrid Bergman. Ingrid Bergman's career was just taking off while Bogart had been well into his. She was only 27 when acting beside 44-year-old Bogart. Humphrey Bogart was a big shot. Ingrid Bergman performed outstandingly alongside Bogart. I honestly believed she was snubbed from a nomination for Casablanca, but she was nominated for the film For Whom the Bell Tolls (1943). This film is my favorite film of all time. It is a film that has impacted me and who I am. I love it so much. I will continue to love this film and watch it over and over until I die. I can't get enough of it and I believe everyone should see it.

My Rewatch Rating:

100/10

My favorite film can break my scale, after all, they are my rules.  I also have already seen it about 8 times in 2020 already.
